POSITION OVERVIEW
Plans and directs activities concerned with development, application, and maintenance of quality standards for industrial processes, materials, and products by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for “Root Cause" Analysis.
Implement effective corrective actions to minimize quality issues associated with customer returns.
Work with engineering and customers to align specifications with process capabilities and minimize inspection cost.
Work with process engineering to properly characterize each critical process to implement real time process controls throughout manufacturing.
Assist supervisors and engineering in minimizing “scrap.
Establish standardization in inspection criteria and methodology for continuous improvement.
Identify and lead cost savings projects.
Provide ongoing technical support to customers for quality issues.
Provide technical support for metrology equipment.
Work with Engineering to ensure accurate BOM’s and routers.
Support ISO quality management system. Help maintain ISO quality documents, calibration records, and participate in internal audits.
Other duties may be assigned.
