Chesapeake Energy is currently looking for an Artificial Lift Technician to work in the Zapata, TX area. This individual will be responsible for the day to day installation, maintenance and repair of plunger lifts. Working hours will be M-F, 40-50 hrs a week, must be open to call outs, company truck provided.

SUMMARY
Performs calibrations and preventative maintenance duties. Troubleshoots and repairs industry related products without assistance as skills and training permit. Responsible for resolving first line customer complaints and invoicing problems. Leads efforts to modernize, upgrade and convert customer existing equipment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Troubleshoots and repairs industry related products without assistance as skills and training permit.
Performs calibrations and preventative maintenance duties.
Maybe required to drive a heavy duty test truck.
Must maintain a valid driver’s license.
Complete record keeping on time.
Complies with ISO standards as required.
Interfaces with sales to meet customer requirements.
Overnight travel is required to maximize efficiency while performing regular duties.
Assists and cooperates with Service Support Representatives when ever necessary.
Ensures productivity standards are met and includes assurance of data integrity of the service database. Assist scheduling efforts with SSR to maximize efficiency and income potential
Ensure customer uptime requirements are met and that PM work at assigned account is completed on time.
Provide input to ensure certified and capable service for the products that you are servicing, developing annual technical training schedules.
Participate to develop and maintain a feeling of teamwork within the service area.
Coordinates business information to customers, sales engineers and associates, lead the efforts in promoting and selling service income-producing products.
Responsible for resolving first line customer complaints and invoicing problems.
Follow prescribed procedures for purchases, meetings, compliance with DOT, W & M, etc.
Ensure vehicle service and maintenance requirements are met.
Ensures compliance with all company policies and procedures, facilitates EHS program
Lead efforts to modernize, upgrade and convert customer existing equipment.
Submits all paperwork in a timely and professional manner, maintains a close professional relationship with external/internal customers, sales, technicians and other leaders.
Other duties may be assigned.

Essential Job Duties:Work with Engineering and Equipment Contractors to collect information needed for new plant operating procedures. Provide technical review of operating procedures and training manuals. Provide Process Engineering for commissioning and start up of Century plant in Fort Stockton, Texas. Provide day-to-day technical support of the operations of the Fort Stockton plant. Will be responsible for development of process design of future capital projects. Will support small capital project construction and startup. Support Process Safety Management through participation in PHA’s and resolution of PHA recommendations and support of the MOC process. Should possess good communication skills and ability to work with field personnel on cross plant/field issues. Knowledge and background in distillation, compression, and process control would be a plus.
